Permanent Exhibitions

Footprints larger than life

The Hans J. Hofmann Hall, inaugurated in October, 2009 is hosting a permanent exhibition about the Cambrian paleontology. Fossil traces that are exposed have more than 500 million years and are probably among the largest traces of invertebrates ever discovered. Come see these fossil traces and learn more about the science that is often confused with archaeology.

This project was made possible with the collaboration of Pierre Groulx, paleontologist, and the financial support of the CRE Vallée-du-Haut-Saint-Laurent.
