Let's get moving this winter!

Starting January 11th, 2026, two Sundays a month, take part in a series of free winter activities at Pointe-du-Buisson!

On the program: snowshoeing, a rally following the tracks of Pointe-du-Buisson's animals, winter tales and legends by the fire, hot chocolate, and free museum admission for the whole family.

This winter, explore the ancient forest of Pointe-du-Buisson and enjoy all the delights winter has to offer!

These activities are offered thanks to the support of Loisir et Sport Montérégie and the City of Beauharnois.

Winter's Delights at Pointe-du-Buisson is an initiative aimed at making winter physical activities accessible to everyone. Six events are planned for 2026: January 11th and 25th, February 8th and 22nd, and March 8th and 22nd. Come get active together while discovering our natural and cultural heritage, free of charge!

Snowshoeing

Explore the trails of the ancient forest of Pointe-du-Buisson! You can bring your own snowshoes or borrow them for free at the museum reception desk.

Rally: On the trail of the animals of Pointe-du-Buisson

The Pointe-du-Buisson forest is teeming with all kinds of animals. Follow their tracks to learn more about them. And who knows, you might even get lucky enough to spot them...

Winter Tales and Legends

Such an enchanting forest is bound to spark the imagination. Come listen to our storytellers share their winter tales and legends while warming up by the fire after your long walk! The stories will be told three times between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

A warm and cozy rest!

After your hike, take a well-deserved break! You can warm up at our warming station, enjoy a delicious hot chocolate, and visit the museum for free!
